Thank you for supporting and using RoamX. We value your trust and understand your desire to protect your privacy. Our primary goal is to protect your privacy in all transactions you engage in with us, including your privacy when using the RoamX application.

We may be required to collect your personal information while providing you with our services.

1. Information Collection

1.1. User-Provided Information:

We may collect information directly provided by you, including but not limited to usernames and any other information you choose to provide. Additionally, the application may automatically collect certain usage data, such as device information and operation logs, to enhance user experience and ensure the proper functioning of the application. We will ask for your consent on which types of data you would like to provide. Users have the right to refuse data collection requests. However, certain services may require some personal information to operate, and if you choose not to provide the necessary personal information to run a specific service or its features, you may be unable to use that service or feature.

1.2. Extended Data:

We also collect information about your location and physical activity to ensure the proper functioning of the application and monitor and verify qualifying forms of activity. You can use your mobile device operating system settings to occasionally enable or disable location monitoring. However, disabling this feature may prevent us from collecting information related to your steps and GPS/mobile ID location, hindering the tracking of your activities and/or converting your activities into tokens.

1.3. Data Statement:

Apart from the conditions outlined in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 regarding data collection, we will not collect or use user data. User data will not be sold to third parties unless approved in use cases on the Chrome Web Store. It will not be used for purposes unrelated to core project functions, nor will it be used to assess creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

2. Use of Information

We use collected information for:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the services of the application.

  • Verifying your actual activity and location and issuing tokens based on that verification data.

  • Investigating and/or preventing suspected fraud or other criminal activities or abuse of our services, including collecting and disclosing user location and movement data for the purposes related to our anti-cheating machine learning system, including detailed user behavior analysis for these purposes.

  • Collecting or disclosing information related to the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet for fraud detection and maintaining the integrity of RoamX gaming systems and other services.

  • Information related to the system version of your device or the brand and model of your device for compatibility assessment purposes with our software versions and other aspects of our services.

  • Operating the RoamX marketplace.

  • Resolving disputes between players.

  • Using your personal information to provide you with information you request from us, though we will not create a link between your user ID and your user email.

  • Communicating with you, including notifying you of updates to the application, RoamX website, our terms of use, and/or this privacy policy.

  • Verifying your financial account information or processing the transfer of digital assets.

  • Verifying your credit card or debit card information.

  • Using your personal information for marketing purposes to provide or offer services. This includes but is not limited to informing you of our latest news, events, special offers, and promotions for our brand or other similar products we believe you may be interested in. This includes direct marketing to you or disclosure of your personal information to other third parties authorized by you.

  • Notifying you of any changes to our products, website, applications, and/or other software and/or mobile applications, brands, or services.

  • Seeking your opinions and feedback on any of our services, for general service purposes such as product improvement and customization, website/software improvement and personalization, and other general service purposes.

  • Consumer engagement and/or customer service purposes, including but not limited to identifying the effectiveness of advertising, allowing you to participate in viral website features, such as sharing website content and other community features (e.g., blogs).

  • Analyzing the usage of our services and improving our services.

  • Other general service purposes, such as website/software security, maintenance, fraud or error identification, internal accounting and management, and any other purposes permitted or required by law; and

  • Managing our relationship with you and other customers.

3. Data Security and Protection

  • We maintain commercially reasonable technical, managerial, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

  • We have implemented reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Although we strive to provide the best security, please be aware that transmitting any information over the Internet involves some level of risk.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We promise not to sell or share your personal information unless in the following situations:

  • With your explicit consent.

  • When required by legal regulations.

  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or in response to emergency situations.

5. Use of Extended Data

  • Our extensions only collect data necessary for their intended purposes, as described in the permissions granted by users.

  • We do not collect any personal data outside of the RoamX platform.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in this privacy policy or as required by law. We will delete your information within a reasonable time. If your personal information has been deleted, you may need to re-enter it.

7. Third-Party Links

RoamX may contain links to third-party websites. We do not take any responsibility for the privacy practices or content of these websites.

8. Privacy Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify the privacy policy at any time. We will notify you of updated privacy policy versions through in-app notifications or by publishing them on our website.
